The stand-alone firm is co-operated by the principals of Squared Communications and Black Rock Group, two strategic communications and public affairs firms that have represented both ends of the political spectrum.
Squared Communications is led by Michael Meehan, a veteran of Capitol Hill and democratic national politics. Black Rock Group is led by Michael Dubke, Carl Forti and Brian Jones, three established GOP campaign strategists with 50 years’ combined experience in the public affairs space.
The name “Potomac West” comes from the companies’ collective footprints across the country, Potomac West Group’s influence spans from the Potomac River to the West Coast.
